I have nephews and nieces(under 10) that would be thrilled by this. They were thrilled by that bowl gaming on PSN and made good entertainment over Xmas.

Inovative Tech, Go SONY

I think sony "f#cked" up with its eye toy tech..

They have something amazingly innovative, and yet they dont grow on it, the eye toy on the ps2 started off very well, and sales were in the millions, but the problem is they had very little support, same thing is happening with the PS EYE.. they havent released a game for an entire year.

PS EYE has so much potential, its far more advanced than the ps2 eye toy.

Tech looks cool, game looks like shit. Hope they use cool eye tech to make games I would like.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

the EyeToy and PS Eye is a SCEE thing. Development for game for these cameras probably arent the easiest thing to make.

Not a game I'd buy, but still, props to Sony for making something cool like this.

Look who's talking

The problem is the PS3 mostly targets core gamers...and little (if at all) casual gamers. There's only some casual games on the PS3 right now - Singstar and whatever movie games there are on it. Singstar is only big in EU but it's not huge.

Games like LBP are casual and I expect it to sell well (might not be as huge as people make it out to be though. But I expect it to be successful.) because it appeals to a wide audience. How many people in this thread have said they were DEFINITELY going to buy this? Not many. Now, compare that to people who want LBP. Big difference. Not only that but Sony is already marketing LBP...yet I doubt they'll market this all that much.

The point is most gamers on the PS3 will dismiss this as some shovelware game and instead buy games like Resistance or whatever. It's not like the Wii or DS where people would buy this type of game regardless...this is the PS3 we're talking about.

I really don't expect this game to sell well. The PS3 isn't a casual console. If you want casual games go to the Wii or DS who are cheaper and have more casual games...not the PS3.

i don't think they expect to sell alot, but they are showing up some amazing tech.

that can be used for another things ;)
