“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
No PS3 owner is? Put the crack pipe down dude..why would they make a game for a system just so that it wouldn't appeal to anyone who would have that system? This will appeal to a lot more people than you think..I'm in awe of comments like that.
This is the same idea. Only its not Sony that did it all. I dont think anyway.
I do like the toy, it could be quite amusing.

Right, please grow up.
Anyway this tech does look quite impressive and the game could end up being quite a hit with the "casual" market the Wii has so far dominated so easily.
Okay, so the other threads about Eyepet weren't good enough, so you had to start a new one Skeeuk? :P
ohhh come on if this was one the wii it would be gimmick city.......geeeze

This is untrue. I know many PS3 owners with kids, and all of them are perfect examples of the sort who will certainly buy this. And I think you'll be surprised how many people buy it to show off what their PS3 can do to friends, or buy it for 'girlfriends' (really for themselves), or similar.
To say that no PS3 owner is the main demographic for this title is wrong. However, it makes a punchy reply.
:)
Looks pretty interesting, plus I already have the camera that came with Eye Of Judgement (which to be honest I played about twice).
Still, I think it is more innovative to hold a Wiimote to your mouth and pretend it is a saxophone.
PSN - hanafuda
Its not innovative. Please see hentai porn video above
If it ends up looking choppy like that video its not going to be so fantastic, but its cool anyway
