After the recently announced EyePet for PS3 I am really thinking of picking up the PS3 Eye. I am just a little hesistant because I am not sure of the quality of PS3 Eye games that are already released.

I would like to know if buying a PS3 Eye would be a good investment and also what games would be worth picking up for it. I would also like to know if Eye of Judgement is any good.

well if you are getting LBP then having the ps3 eye is a must

Yeah I know that's another reason I want it but I want to know if the other games are good because I don't want to spend $40 just to place pictures in LBP.

The Eye of Judgement is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's a good game. Not a great game. But certainly good. However, it can be costly in cards, as all collectible card games are, and it is a bit of a hassle to set up. That aside, it's great fun.

The other Eye games are less than brilliant. Fun for a short time, but they quickly grow stale. Beyond the Eye of Judgement, I primarily use my camera for it's mike (the mike is good), for free video chats with friends, for SingStar, for making home videos of my kids, and for odd little uses in other games (such as putting my face on a Snakeball, or on a licence in Burnout Paradise, or similar).

So, good buy for me; perhaps not for you? I dunno. Up to you, really. We love it in our house, though.

i think i buy it when they release eye pet, i WANT that game XD

I think they releasing a whole bunch of eye games similar to what they did on the ps2. i seen some pics of a wii fit style game and there will be a ps2 if you have BC that is that will come with a foam sword and have 1:1 motion thingy. Looks pretty sweet. Currently with the eye toy, it seems it's more about what you can make use of it for rather then what good use it has. You can way up the odds for or against depending on your stance :s
