He didn't quit school. The article said the kid is homeschooled. Many actors, athletes, and highly competitive kids choose homeschooling over government schools. I know some of you are from places other than America and homeschooling is outlawed in some places (like Germany) but it is common for talented kids in America. The Guitar Hero part is the interesting and different part.

Most of you people are being completely silly. His parents should be shot because they support their kid's dream by agreeing to help him learn his school work at home so it would be easier for him to concentrate on his dream?
