Rayman Raving Rabbids is a great game. I'd recommend that to any new buyer, as it's a good starter for what the Wii can do. A lot of fun too.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

basically wat everyone said. most of the first party games are good.
i highly recommend godfather. very enjoyable. just not a big replay value onces u reach don.

Rayman Raving Rabbids
Excite Truck
Super Paper Mario
Resident Evil 4
Zelda: Twilight Princess

And since you didn't have a Gamecube:
Eternal Darkness
Metroid Prime 1 & 2
Eternal Darkness
Zelda Windwaker
Eternal Darkness
Super Smash Bros Melee (so you can practice for Brawl)
and Eternal Darkness

Hi and welcome

Zelda
Excite Truck
Super Paper Mario
Resident Evil 4
Godfather
Wii Play -- ignore other guy, its a steal at $10, I love the tank game.
Nice VC Stuff, though i only buy the NES and SNES games. Spent $16 on 6 games.
Plenty of great gamecube games.
I really loved the Metroid Prime games.

Basically your are in a position to buy and play tons of games for little cost at this point.

Buy Resident Evil 4, especially if you haven't played it yet. It will blow you away, one of the best games ever and only 30 dollar in your country. Zelda also belongs to one of the best games ever.

I would recommed Exite Truck to it was far more fun than i expected, i played it more than motorstorm for PS3.

Super Paper Mario is a lot of fun too.

id recommend that game too its fun and a good start to wii gaming......i just wonder why not many ppl on here seem to like this game much

Rayman Raving Rabbids had a lot of problems but it was also a great all around game. I've had many people want to buy a Wii just because they played or even just watched this game being played. This game quickly made it somewhere in my favorite games of all time and the only reason it isn't near the top of that list is because the multiplayer wasn't that great. Hopefully Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 will fix that.

God I love the Rabbids.

I'll tell you one NOT to get. Don't even bother with Wii Play. Sure it's just 10 dollars more than a wiimote, but I haven't touched it since the day I bought it. I thought with a younger sister and brother that we'd get some joy out of the mini games but the time where we would play it is better spent in another round of Wii Sports.

Other than that, I've only got Zelda so I can't help you out.

Trauma Center is supposed to be really cool though.

The challenge I have is that I'm banking on a lot of launch third party games getting good price cuts near Black Friday. So while I want Trauma Center, Red Steel, Rayman and Godfather... I'm gambling on a big sale. Take that logic as you will.

I'll counter this and say that you definitely should get Wii Play.  The games aren't deep or awe-inspiring, but they're fun to play.  You'll want an extra Wii Remote anyway, and for ten bucks more, you'll get plenty of entertainment out of Wii Play.

Errr, shouldn't the price be more than that?
