Also the most releveant part of the Bullshit thing is Al Gore says it's ok that he wastes so much energy because he buys carbon credits.

The trick being... he buys them from himself!

There is no real oversite on what happens to any of this "carbon credit" money either.

People would be better off directly contributing to research. But then Al Gore and people like him wouldn't get their completly unregulated cut. (which could be 100% for all we know.)

It's not like this is a political thing either.  Both presidential candidates are Pro carbon credits.

Heh, I love this thing. Cause it really sums it up pretty well. Al Gore doesn't care about the environment, wether any of it might be true or not, it's simply a way of controlling people.
Why does Bush have a house like that? Is it because he's actually secretly an environmental nut? No, it's because he knows how to use his money to get the most out of it, and to be as self sufficient as possible.

i'm all for finding energy saving techniques that save you hassle as well, what pisses me off is when I'm being told I have to go out of my way and use something less effective cause it's supposed to be better for the environment
