wow, that will piss people off...LOL

that's almost worse than the Columbine shooting RPG that came out...

I can't talk I watched a series of videos making fun of Chris Benoit after that whole mess happened a few years ago, so I can handle dark humor.

sad thing is, without the subject matter, the game looks fun :P

The Columbine Shooting RPG was a bad thing (other than how hard it was).  Don't forget to see the movie about the game.

I had a German friend ask me once while we were at a Blockbuster, "What is the American obsession with Nazism?" And it's true, America has made as much money on Nazism, then they've made on aliens.

I think we've all become ridiculously overly sensitive about everything. It's almost like we WANT to turn back the clock and return to the days where people whispered taboo subjects and learned about sex from disgraced politicians.

We can't censor everything just because we don't agree with it. I'm going to start revolting this practice by admitting freely, that I love to run people over on the sidewalks of GTA, Boobs and Blood geysering in God of War makes it awesome, and the only bad thing about Mass Effect, was there simply wasn't MORE aliens getting it on.

With Nazism? It's easy. Ww2 was basically the only "Black and white" war ever. The Nazis being even more black and white then the Japanese in the west, because things like the rape of nanking aren't really talked about.

You can make a game where you an Allied forces member and your definitivly the "good guy". It's easy.

If you made a Vietnam game, where you mow down a bunch of vietnese people, it'd just get called racist... bascially any other game is going to be considered a bit racist or your going to have to work to portray both sides as having a point.

Well other then the Civl War.... but the guns sucked too bad back then.

That's in a total different vain with something like this where it more makes fun of the actual towers going down.  Making fun of the victims not the agressors.

It's the difference between making a joke about a Nazi, or making a joke about someone dieing in a gas chamber.

What I'm saying is, people can't be censored, no matter what. Sure it can get irresponsible, but realistically, America simply isn't the world. We don't have the authority to tell people in other countries what they can and cannot do or say.

It's been more than half a century since WWII, and the Germans have yet to live down those atrocities, I'm sure they're pretty tired of us capitalizing of off it. But that's life. We can't shape the world based on what people will be offended for seeing. You either get Carte Blanche or nothing at all. I don't like the fact they are trivializing 9/11, but I reserve the right to either ignore it or criticize it, as I see fit. As should everyone.

Well you could play as asian Americans then it would not be racist anymore rightie?

Anyway there is a game about it:

The problem is that the Vietnam war was a very sensitve one with a lot of people who think it was a war that never have may been occured while WWOII is a war that everyone was okay with.

And I would love a civil war game dude.  Evar played Timesplitters 2?  You have a Western level in it and that was a damned awesome level they could make something like that and I would buy it.  Only it was a very very racist period.  Shooting indians, Using Chinese as 'slaves ' to build trainrails, Africans who had to grave up shitholes.

You got it a little backwards man... the lego is offencive for people of jewish descent... it makes germans look bad but since germany did those horrible things we just have to live with this stuff... nazis can easily be made fun of here but we don´t make fun of what they did to their enemies... we have some kind of unwritten code on that...

The irony of those Lego mock-ups when they first popped up years back was that even though they were meant to offend Jews, they caused a big stir up in Germany which is hyper-sensitive about anything relating to Hitler, Naziism or the Holocaust.  They were probably more offended by it than most Jewish people.

Nevertheless I found it to be pretty damn funny when I first saw them on the news way back, and they still are.   People say its been 7 years since 9/11 and that we should get over it... well its been over 63 years since the end of WWII, so I say anyone who might be offended by such trivial attempts at provoking outrage about the Holocaust need some serious catching up to do in the "get over it" department.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Yeah people can't be censored. However it's totally within peoples rights to complain about shit and even stop things by applying economic pressure. (boycotts, it hurting reputation) etc.

Personal freedoms work both ways.

If someone can make some insensitive shit, a bunch of people should be free to complain about it... and if it's enought people to get something taken down...  That's the system working in freef low how it should be.  Since the people who are hosting it now want it down.

The only problem is when governments come in and say you can't say shit.

I should be annoyed at the Lego thing since I am Jewish but luckily I learned not to take things to seriously...

Everyone wasn't OK with WWII.  I don't think the US government should have entered it when they did or how they did.  Similar to the Civil War, a horrible War that the US should have never caused.

Wow. Reading that post made my brain feel like throwing up. I think I also just forgot the names of half my relatives through stupidity osmosis. Time for bed.

The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
