Why?

That has to be good news for wii.

The controls would suit the game imo.

Great; lots of people are actually waiting for a great Harry Potter game, myself included. Definite purchase for me if it bodes well.

The only harry potter game I've played was the first one for the PS. I liked it as a kid, but thinking back it doesn't sound too fun. So I don't know about this. Does anybody know if Harry Potter games are good?

The last HP game was rather good, dragged down by its endless "fetch and go" quests.

Because the previous Harry Potter game sold better on the Wii than any other console

There ok, Not worth a buy imo a rent, The fifth installment started off promising, but it was way too short, and left a lot of important things out.

That may be the case, but i thought they would have kept development like: Develop on Wii port To PS2/PSP

Develop on PS3 port to 360?

Not really. What the Wii needs is exclusives. The Xbox 360 has exclusives and some shared IPs with the PS3 and PC.

More importantly though, EA is using the Wii to try and make improvements with the control schemes in order to make the game sell better on the other platforms. Since Harry Potter sells better on the Wii and controls much, much better.

I just wish that EA would drop the Casual/Core label and bring a RTS game over the Wii. The Wii remote and Nunchuk are sutied for this kind of gameplay. How can developers at EA continually fail to see this. OH yeah, they see the Wii as casual and it needs to sell 60 million in North America just for EA to take a risk and make a rts game for the Wii.

EA will most likely never get what the Wii is capable of. There just looking for another revenue stream and that's it. Therefore the Wii must remain casual in order to benefit their company. Sad.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
