I can't see how this could possibly not be one of the worst movies ever. They might as well get Uwe Boll to direct. Video game movies almost never go well and I think this in particularly will go down badly (maybe as badly as Doom the movie). Space kill them all games just do not make interesting movies.

Name a single good sci fi movie that got by primarily on action scenes. Star Wars, Serenity, Star Trek...all the greats have a lot more to them story wise and Halo just doesn't. The only interesting part of the Halo story is that AI chick who makes snarky remarks.

Aliens. And even that had more emotional depth than the entire Halo trilogy. I'd also argue that SW is mostly action-oriented. Then again, I don't think most SW is any good.

Aliens, Starship Troopers, Transformers,and did you mention Star Wars having a great story?!?!

Predator, Independence Day, Alien, etc.  I keep thinking of more.  And if you do not like any of these sci-fi action fest, then sci-fi is probably not your thing.
