MKwii will outsell Halo3 that's only a matter of time, i mean look at the numbers after those few months, we will get few more Halo games as well this generation. And well halo does get boring as well for some people.
I think Halo would be bigger news in America, but overall Mario would be bigger.

Depends when they are released and for what system. Halo 4 for xbox 360 VS Mario Gallaxy 64 Sunshine 2 for Wii would probably go to Mario due to userbase being larger and people being used to a steady diet of nintendo software
I don't know. I have a lot of friends who were heavily anticipating Halo 3, and they were disappointed. Most of them now think that CoD 4 has both a better single player campaign and better multiplayer. The multiplayer, in particular for Halo 3, is vanilla and lame.

Stop trolling dude. Halo 3 has been to most played game on 360 for 4 weeks now almost a year later after its release... So no one else is dissapointed other than your freinds.
