I noticed there was a bit to much negativity going on with all the titles predicted to flop next. I figured a topic discussing what games coming soon are going to succeed would be a good balancer. You can discuss about old franchises with new installments, but a discussion for new franchises would be better.

Feel free to state your opinions on why -blank- game will succeed. I would rather this not be a topic in which people fear to state their opinions. Try to explain why you feel a title will do well rather than just picking it for being on your system of choice.

ok heres my opinion:

i think Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm

its the first naruto game for PS3 will alot of ppl are pumped about and since its an anime which came from Japan, and this naruto anime is really famous here (Canada, US, dunno about UK) as well. since there is alot of fans they gonna get this game.

also this game is PS3 exclusice they have already released demoo and it was big fun. also u dont have to be a fan of this anime to enjoy this game, its a NINJA game., so u can just hop in and play the game. also i bet story tellin is good so ppl will learn of the story and its a good story.

also on some youtube videos of this game, ppl are saying they wish they had a ps3, which i think means good sales for PS3.

also its comin out in fall when 2 major anticipated games are coming for PS3 (resistance 2 and Motorstorm 2)

For some of the new franchises, try to explain why you feel they will be successful. As for them, it can be hard to predict how they will do.

Ninjas are pretty cool, and Naruto I agree is a popular series.

Well, there aren't many huge ones... Halo 4 (or whatever Bungie is making)? Gran Turismo 5? Maybe even Final Fantasy XIII? Pretty much nothing else can be even close. Well, maybe GeoW2 but it's not that big.

Fallout 3 will be Bethesda-quality; mostly thought to be good but still nothing huge or spectacular. Far Cry 2 doesn't have what it takes to be a huge one, though good it seems. Resistance 2 seems too generic, and so does Killzone 2.

Fable 2 might have a chance to be on par with GeoW2 but I'm still not so sure about that since the first one wasn't as good as expected. Still, much potential.

LittleBigPlanet has a small chance as well. However, from a hardcore gamer's point of view it might be too casual to make it that high, no matter how good it is. It could end up sucking, too. Oh, and I think I might just list Spore here because they do have something in common. Still, Spore will probably appeal to hardcore gamers more than LBP.

Others are either not worth mentioning (most of them) or I'm simply forgetting them.

Please note that I listed only huge, spectacular games. Big and great ones have been totally forgotten.
