I'm getting Ultimate Ninja Storm.

They have the same number of characters, but I doubt Broken Bond will have older characters such as Zabuza or Haku like Ultimate Ninja Storm probably will, and they're a couple of my personal favorites.

Furthermore, UNS covers the entire Naruto story up until the end of the Sasuke Retrieval arc whereas the Broken Bond simply picks up where the last game left off with the Return of Itachi, Seach for Tsunade, and Sasuke Retrieval arcs.

Also, as far as graphics go, I feel that Broken Bond's cel-shaded characters look somewhat goofy on the game's fairly realistic backgrounds compared to Ninja Storm's characters and backgrounds that look like they were both taken straight from the anime.

wow, nice analysis

They make different types of Naruto games. Do these two fall under the same genre?

ya kinda, fightin and action adventure.

How are those the same genres? They're completely different. Which one is a fighting game and which is an action adventure?

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

broken bonds' graphics are so bad its not even funny.

Take a look at 0.45-0.47 the animations are horrible.

Now take a look at 0.50-0.52(pause the video) is that supposed to be naruto?

At 1.01 nejii looks like a rat.

At the end of the video you'll also see how slow the combat is.

Now take a look at these videos as well:

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/37615.html calling this video "epic" is epic fail, it actually hurts my eyes..

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/37632.html

the combat looks far from fast paced

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/37633.html

notice that the shadow moves in the air.

I really hope this game is far from release, and imo it got nothing on UNS.

We're not saying that both genres are the same, we're saying that both games are of both genres.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is a fighting game with many action-adventure aspects.
Naruto: The Broken Bond is an action-adventure game with many fighting aspects.

Both games have essentially the same gameplay with both fighting and adventuring, but one focuses more on the fighting while the other focuses more on the adventuring.

Actually, both games are fairly similar. They both have fighting and adventuring/exploration scenarios, it's just that Ninja Storm focuses more on the fighting aspect while Broken Bond focuses more on the adventuring/exploration aspect.

The gameplay I have seen from BB seems like a decent adventure/platform game, but as a Naruto game, that aspect of the game fails so hard.

Naruto has to cross a bridge rigged with explosives instead of just walking on the water.

Naruto and his squad has to make it across a river, but there is a gate! The gate can only be opened from within the city they are trying to enter, so Naruto makes a bridge of shadowclones (instead of just walking over the water and standing on the small piece of soil outside the gate) so Shikamaru (who is in the squad...) can pull the lever with his shadow. WTF? Since when could Shikamaru control levers with his shadow?!

And also, the cel shaded characters (who don't look that good on their own), look really out of place with the realistic environments.

And then there was a video of a cinematic leading up to the fight with Tsunade/Orochimaru/Jiraiya, and it honestly leaves the impression that they are trying to redo the manga, not the anime... The animations are that stiff...

Animations what animations? you should take a look at some of the things i mentioned, its really pathetic.

Naruto UNS is by far the superior game graphically also if played the 2-d interations of it's predcessors you know in for good competive combat based heavily on using the strengths of the character examples if are facing Rock Lee with Shikimaru it better to play a defensive mid to long range strategy to try to overcome Lee 's brute force and speed rather than using Shikimaru bad taijutstu(compare to Rock taijutsu).

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !
