On Topic: Thats the reason why I was hesitant to give either R2/KZ2 a better shot at that number 3 spot. Conditions aren't quite favourable for either to take off.

that was like 4 months ago. Now with all the GPU bundles, download, and retail sales it should be over 2 million easy.

UT3 should be over a million without the console versions by now.

FYI until Crysis outsells Gears of War it won't be on that list. Thats tripple your current estimated sales...

it does.... compare it's gameplay versus 95% of the FPS market. You should know for a fact it is pathetic versus most games of the genre. The problem is there are thousands more FPSs on the PC versus console so 1 - 2 million sales dont sound like much but comparing 200 games versus 3 games selling around 8 million makes a major difference.

I dont care. You list is crap. You cant say top 3 shooters and use sales. It just doesnt work. What makes a great game is gameplay not sales.

Wii Sports is currently the 5th best selling game in the world. Now will you say Wii Sports is a better game then Madden, FIFA, the MLB titles, etc? I seriously hope you wont.

If the game sucked so bad, why are Halo 1 sales so high, Halo 2 sales higher and Halo 3 sales even higher again? Surely people would have learnt it sucks after being burnt by it up to 3 times? Furthermore its the highest played game on Xbox Live, with 1 million people logging in. You can't force people to play something that sucks for a year when there are supposidly "better" options out there.

Killzone 2 will almost certainly not reach the top 3. Resistance 2 might tho...

Until now,sales-wise

1.Call of Duty 4(Oh ,how people did laugh when they said they could topple Halo 3).
2.Halo 3.
3.Gears of War.

Quality-wise

1.Call of Duty 4.
2.Gears of War
3.A lot of games same quality...Halo3 ,Warhawk,Resistance,Unreal3,BattlefieldBC...

For the future I dont see any dethoroning these but it could be..

1Gears of War2
2Call of Duty 5
3.Socom Confrontation
4Killzone 2
5Resistence 2
