In this corner, Sony Corporation weighing in with a revenue of $88.7 billion.  He's strong and has TVs, HDTVs, consoles, computers, chipsets, movie studios, IT, music studios, semiconductors, and even Sony Insurance. 

In the other it's the Frenchman. Viva la Vivendi SA at an average revenue of 20.044 billion Euros in 2006 alone.  It has Activision-Blizzard, music, movies, telecommunications, and so much more. 

Who will win this bout ladies and gentlemen?

Why Sony vs. Vivendi? Are they competing for some reason? What are they competing for, my heart?

^Well Sony vs Microsoft would take the entire East coast Fire dept. to put out the flames and they both have similar ventures, ie music, film, games, telecommunications.

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

A conglomerate: 1. A corporation made up of a number of different companies that operate in diversified fields.

I would chose Vivendi myself. Sony has a lot of hardware risks involved with their ventures + the recent full buyout of BMG doesn't help for the yearly profit.

Haha, thanks for that, but I was actually kidding. I just thought you scared people off the thread just because they don't know what it means. ;)

I'll pick Sony just because they make good TVs and hardware in general. Let's say it's more useful than TV channels and stuff, but I guess both complete each other, in a way...!

^Yeah, basically it's a French Sony w/o the chips and tvs. I didn't want to do a MSFT vs Sony because it would be a flame war waiting to happen. Besides, MSFT is more software oriented than these two.
