What rating do most games get when they try something new and are really awesome, but don't have tits or blood and they're just too cute and not a sequel?
I guess 85.

80% to 85% ...
I expect that there will be some reviewers who simply love the game and give it 100%, there will be other reviewers who don't see the point in it and give it 60%, and overall I expect most reviewers will think that it is a very good game with some obvious flaws and give it a score in the 80% range.
9.0
Sound and presentation will take the hits.

It'll get around Bionic Commando Rearmed's metacritic rating (maybe less, hehe... OK, sorry j/k)... Not telling which version though! :x
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
I'm looking at the 82-87 area.
I have a feeling it's going to be an 85 though.
Hard to say... either too high or too low.
It's pretty hard to rate a game where 80% of the appeal is creation and the user community when neither of those are going to be developed when the game is being reviewed.
A game like this takes at least a month for you to get a real good feel for the editor and more like 3-4 months after release before you know how the community will ship out.
As such you are stuck either reviewing on what's their or reviewing on potential...
It's really a game you can't review. Or at least you can't on a console since you don't have any of it's brethern in the genre to compare too.
Things like library of stuff it comes with, how the menus work, number of triggers, scalability of the physics, how easy the editing can be etc will be tough to judge when you don't have any expierence with this kind of stuff.
I know if i was reviewing it i'd probably knock .5 of a point off for forcing sackboy to be the main character. Nothing against the little guy but i'm used to being able to make your own avatar comepletly right down to how everything effects him and how he looks.

I think it'll change Starcraft's sig. I'm not sure on the exact score it'll end up with though.
...
probably high 80s. lots of people score on a 1-5 range so they can rate it as good and give it a 4 and it will translate to metacritic as 80 and drag the score down even though it might have been rated higher if they had a different system.
