I found the demo fun, and even played through it a couple of times.
This game will probably be a cheap purchase one day.

It's also better than 41% of the 360's library. Just to be fair.
And 57% of the Wii's.
...
My pre-order stays, just decided. I just played the demo a third time with a different class and its just keeps getting better and Im not bored of anything. I could play it a 4th-5th time easily just to try the other 3 classes (not to mention the other skill paths).
Its interesting that my combat style evolved and changed quite a lot from the 3 playthroughs.
The major drawbacks that were given in current reviews were: the clunky combat (I disagree, it shouldnt take too long to get used to it), monotonous (well its grinding after all and its no different to the other 100s of hours spent on grinding in other RPGs), length of game (I think 10-12 hours is great though), and camera (I agree here, its not smart enough).
As I predicted before, it was going to get wide variety of scores, and it will be one for action RPG fans, not for everyone. If you are a least bit interested in Diablo style loot, grinding and character building, this game deserves your attention.

Well, that's a different way to look at things. Very Fair.
I think toohuman is most comparible to HeavenlySword, HS had it's good points, but it's battle mechanics didn't feel polished, NinjaTheory focused too much on mocaping faces and cinema. For TooHuman, the devs tried to add RPG elements and dungeon crawling with a stylized hack and slash game. In the end, it seems like they achieved that goal but at the cost of not making any of those aspect great.
Anyways, I'm gameflying this game right now, the online co-op should be worth it.
Someone mention this to me today regarding hack & slash genre on console that they all get very mediocre scores (look at all Dynasty Warriors & its offsprings, KUF) and it makes me think if this is just typical score for this type of games. (Dynasty Warriors usually get around 6 from Game Informer and 4 from most other review sites/mags).
Are there hack & slash type games on consoles that get good score? I can't think of any for this gen. How about last gen? (I didn't play much of console games last gen, Dreamcast was my real last console I bought for myself, though I did have PS2 & Xbox but they were both my son consoles)
Yea, try the demo. I've been excited about this game since the N64/PS1 era, but after playing the demo I decided not to get the game. The animation is very dry and the combat is a very unfortunate mix of Dyanasty Warriors and Zelda. Lots of enemies and all the system really does is lock on based on where you move the analog and auto attacks. I prefer manually z-locking and attacking thru button input or waggle(LOZ:TP). Also, it has no real sense of timing like LOZ:WW does or God of War.

For those who like these types of games, take the plunge (or at least give it a rent). It is a lot of fun , and im about 2 1/2 hours in. Does it have flaws that showed up in the demo like a not always perfect camera, and a tiny bit of slowdown once and a while? yes it does. Inventory system could be better, but its better then Mass Effects system. A lot of the review stuff is HIGHLY exaggerated, and if Dyack didn't open his mouth it would have gotten higher scores without a doubt IMO. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't played it
there is a demo... try it.
and regarding dynasty warriors: it deserves those scores, since they re-packaged the same game (twice!) each year since 2000.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Im playing right now and I must say it is better than I thought it would be. Im in the second lvl now (Ice Forests) and the gameplay is addictive. They improved upon some things since the demo such as the menus being more responsive and smoother. The story is pretty good so far I must say. I have not given the coop a try yet but im hoping someone on my friends list will give too human a try!
