Update: It's been confirmed through Kotaku that the PS3 release date for The Last Remnant was a mistake and is still scheduled for an undetermined date in 2009. Sorry for the excitement this may have caused PS3 fans anticipating this game.

The Last Remnant PS3 dated for November 20 ?

According to the latest Famitsu PS3 magazine, The Last Remnant, scheduled for November 20 worldwide on Xbox 360, should also be released the same day on the PlayStation 3, in Japan. Still waiting for an official confirmation from Square Enix.

If it's true, and the game is still delayed in the US/EU, then I guess MS did pay them off.  Or maybe it's releasing worldwide on the ps3 on that date, which would kick ass.

Of course, they'd have to release the same day as the 360 version in at least one territory to avoid having to add extra content to the ps3 version.

Do you mean the PS3 version or any version of the game? The 360 version is releasing on Nov 20th worldwide officially.

i have not known them to spew complete bs before but hey, always a first time en it.

plus if this is true then no extra content for the ps3 version. also MS would have payed for it not to be released on the ps3 in the rest of the world, why else would they hold a game back when it is finished?

I hope it's true. The more multiplat games, and the quicker they are ported, the better. If this game is great, or even if it's not, I hope everyone that wants to play it and is willing to purchase it, gets the chance.

I also hope that some of the larger non-Sony-published PS3 games get ported to 360 sooner rather than later.

I just wish more fanboys shared that frame of mind.
