MS might be holding back for E3 but I find it very peculiar that we've heard virtually nothing about this game in months. Most games for the holiday season are already ramping up interviews, trailers, etc. to get people excited about the game. Meanwhile, Lost Odyssey just sits in the background.

ok...mrstickball im in a MICROSOFT DISCUSSION!!!! i dont think microsoft is gonna give out to much information about lost odyessy because they want to wait for the hype when final fantasy 13 comes out for the ps3..so that lost odyssey can have more hype and cause confusion for the two games....its confusing i might have typed it wrong but thats my IMO!!!

In Japan is probable. i`m actually worried about the gameplay. I don`t think the turn based system fits well in the enviroment of the game. Being an action RPG would make it better.

Last I heard it was getting a late release. Like in December...

I don't think it's going to be a big hit in the US, but in Japan it will be a boost.

Still think Blue Dragon won't be surpassed by this game's sales in either US or Japan.

Microsoft announced it as part of their list of games for this year's E3 so I guess we'll know more then. But to be honest I can't see it coming out this year for the same reasons you've mentioned.

Umm. We never heard anything about BD with pics and whatnot until a few months till BD came out.

There was a PLAYABLE DEMO last year of LO, even before Blue Dragon came out. MS needs it out this year, and even as of last year (when the demo was done), they said it was 40% done, and as of early this year (last interview, I believe), that it was 70+% done, and rapidly getting better.

Don't worry about it. We'll have actual gameplay at E3 or X07.

I am sure it will hit japan this year. Because microsoft will do everything they can to make sure the game releases this year because it's their BIG game for christmass/holiday season in Japan. I'm sure they will show something (video) at E3 and maybe a release date. And if they don't show it , it will be at TGS or X07 like mrstickball said.
