No. MGS:PO came from a much bigger franchise than God of War (GoW2 barely broke 1 million, that's at best the bottom end of system seller range) and it only managed .9 million copies. I'd say it will boost sales the week it comes out but not much and not significantly. Still it's finally given me a game to look forward to. I've been kinda bored with my PSP over the last year. GoW, FFVII, and Dissidia are big enough to keep me going for a while (whenever they finally get here).

God of war chains off olympus in my opinion would be a system seller, but theres always a but, one great game wont sell millions of systems, the psp needs some more great exclusive titles.

It will sell some PSPs, without a doubt. But not that much. I think 50-100k is a good estimate. Good, but far from having the impact that other games will have both on PSP and DS.

I think it will boost the sales but the PSP is floundering at the moment. Partly due to not a huge library of good games (which I admit is getting better every month), but mainly due to homebrew scene.

Usually the homebrew scene is just something that's there and an annoyance, but a large group of PSP owners get their games illegally and developers know this. Sadly, it's too easy to get a hold of any game and run it on your PSP with no worries. What's also sad is the same thing is starting to happen for the DS but luckily it just isn't as big yet.

Simple:

GoW: Chains of Olympus will sell PSP's in the US... Cause it's a big franchise there.

It WILL NOT sell much systems in EU and Jap.

I think God of War: Chains of Olympus will be a seller of the psp. I also think the biggest seller will be the ps3 in time.

If you want a system seller get GranTurismo mobile out, there's not alot of games that can do what GT does in terms of sales
