Looking at some of the other solutions I think I went a bit complicated with the multiple vehicle approach =P

No kidding, most of my methods involved monstrous behomeths. Once I pick an idea, I seem to have trouble letting go of it :)
Here are some of the custom levels that I've beaten:

I played the first couple of levels. Pretty fun, but I still prefer Phun when fooling around with making 2D machines. Less goal oriented (sandbox) but more open and fun for me.
Phun? I'll have to try that now, thanks to this game.

Haha, I just made a vertical conveyer belt. Works perfectly, too!

Argh I can't do the last three.
I made a fantastic attempt at back and forth.... it had pink wheels at the bottom which ran it left, but I made it unstable so it fell onto the ball, one of the pink wheels and a yellow at the other side pulled it up onto the vehicle, and there were 2 more yellow wheels so that the three pushed against the 1 pink wheel touching (the other is now in the air)... and that pulled it ovr the edge, but it had no way of getting out of the gap.
How the hell do you do the vertical tube one? I tried to make a cart that pushed it's wheels outwards but it still didn't have enough grip, then I tried to launch it to almost no effect.

I tried that too, and, in fact, that's how you do it. I couldn't get mine to until I looked at someone else's design. You have to get it just right, or something like that.
