Last I heard, Microsoft still had the monopoly in OS market. That's why most of us use crap like Vista and XP.



How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

And also if it's timed exclusive then the ps3 version is released with more. They are forced to, I forgot why, something about a contract by SONY or something.

Naw, thats just Dan mattrick. Now even 360 fans don't like him anymore. They really haven't done any mudslinging though. (Except Mattrick)

Yeah the OS market is different than the gaming market.  But I would not want MS to have a monopoly on this market and the third party publishers wouldnt let them



PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

You answered you own question, you are pissed because you need to wait, understandable, Microsoft is banking on the fact that while some people will go on internet forum to crie about it, other will get off there ass and go buy an Xbox 360. For the publisher it probably doesn't make much of a difference in the long run sale wise so they go along with it so as to gain a certain amount of leverage from the console maker.

I'm not pissed. I'm just annoyed at the fact that other gamers, who may not have the funds to purchase a second console, need to wait longer just to play what others probably will deem "old news".

Guidelines to understanding my train of thought:

  • THE METAL GEAR SOLID FRANCHISE IS THE BEST THING TO HIT THE PLANET SINCE THE PS3!! THUS, MGS FRANCHISE >> SLICED-BREAD.
  • Solid Snake shall and well always shove 1up mushrooms up Mario's ass. 
  • Solid Snake shall and well always decimate Master Chief with a flurry of rocket launchers, shotgun rounds, and a 20 minute monologue.

last remant was delayed due
UE issues.
there isn't a published timed exclusivity deal.
unless they actually pay money to square secretly

anyway sony got a first party second party studios working for them

in contrast to microsoft that have nothing.
third party can't ignore ps3 for long especially in japan that have more than 4 times xbox360 market.

xbox360 may have the third party sometimes first but when the games are released on the ps3 they will have a huge market too, plus the first parties.

 You bring up a good point. Is Microsoft relying too much on third-party games to drive its console to victory? I personally think so. Also, it's extremely evident to see how easy a third-party developer can swift from on console to the next.

Maybe you should have done research before you bought the first console? You're not gonna tell me the games on the PS3 were that good that you wanted to get that before the x360?

If you got it for the blu-ray, tough luck. You bought it for movies not for games. Go get a gaming console that has the games you want, when you want it.
