Thanks for stating the obvious.

Anyways, I've only played the first Metal Gear Solid game (on the Playstation), but Master Chief would win easily. Hell, whenever he gets hurt, he can just regenerate his shields no matter how catastrophic the damage. Plus, if we count in vehicles, Master Chief has a pretty much unstoppable arsenal. Everything from ghosts to banshees to tanks to pelicans, and that's not even counting powerful weapons such as the rocket launcher and spartan laser.

I'm sure Snake has some great tricks of his own, but Master Chief is a powerful cyborg with nearly unlimited power, whereas Snake is a weak old man who succeeds through surprise and stealth. If all of his cover has been blown to smithereens, Snake wouldn't stand much of a chance.
