C) A union between 2 consenting people who love each other. I'm not going to play along with society's bullshit and cause more people to fall down because of it... like Romeo and Juliet. If 2 consenting people love each other I and no one else has any right to tell them they can't be together or get married.

In Islam it doesn't even have religious significance. It is just a contract between two people where each party has obligations to the other party and benefits to boot. To me if God didn't want homosexuality then God shouldn't have created it since people are born gay. A great number of animals have homosexual behaviour to the same degree as humans, so it is part of the natural order of life, even if it doesn't promote the continuation of the species. Disagreeing with some one and murdering someone are really quite different. You'll notice that Christians describe theivery as wrong, but you don't see any attempts to set them ablaze. And if you thought your neighbor was possessed by Satan and causing horrible calamities, might you be inclined to do something about them, too?
Not that I'm saying they were right about them being witches, just that it kinda makes sense, their reactions. Of course, one might argue that they didn't actually think many of them were witches, just burning those they needed to, but that would be a different argument.
