Does anybody here believe in omen betting? By that i mean do you ever get the feeling you should bet on something just because of its name?

Yesterday i was puting a few bets on a footy game and while i was at the TAB (Betting Agency), i noticed there was a horse named Sadlers Star about to run. As i've spent the last 2 weeks playing RE4 for the first time i felt i had to bet on it. So i put $15 each way on it.

The way i figure it now, i've been paid to play RE4! And considering its one of the best games i have played i'm pretty happy!

 $265.50 including the $30 'investment'

So profit of $235.50 (Which has since all gone back to the TAB coutesy of a few footy games)

I dont think its more likely to work either, its just a finacial and morale victory when it does. Rather than just financial win when you try to study form...
