EA/THQ.

Sports games and Movie games are the true cancer destroying the industry.

That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.

How are they destroying the industry? Both genres have existed since and flourished on the NES and even before that. Both genres allow developers to make some extra cash. With this extra money, they may be motivated to make niche games for hardcore elitists. You know, because they're too good for the rest of that stuff...

Microsoft/Nintendo

Nintendo? why? at least they don't buy their way in and make good games of their own... I couldn't agree more about Microsoft though.

Buy their way in? Huh, sounds like Sony with the PS1 and 2.

How?

When Sony was first starting they bought out alot of previously Nintendo exclusives. Included were the Final Fantasy series, Metal Gear, Tales series(for PS1 anyway.), and a good bit of others. Like I said before, every console has to start somewhere. Essentially people are hating Microsoft for doing the exact same thing as Sony did when it was starting out too.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Point taken, used, and absorbed into my skin.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Well, on the other hand, a movie based game was partly responsible for the temporary destruction of the entire industry...

Need I say what was the case with FF7? something with cartritges, no? anyway, I won't make this thread go off rails and eave it as it is.

Bungie...Yes I hate Halo.

Secondly why in the world would you say Sony(Which is an exemplary company)? They demolished the other consoles in 5th and 6th generation...

^If Sony "Demolished" them, by that logic the Wii is also a demolisher, no?
