The Japanese and Europeans are really easy on porn but they don't like violence like we do. That's one area where we are a lot more extreme than they are.

Sex is quite natural. Violence is fairly natural. Violence with guns, much less so. Oddly, invert that scale for American acceptance.

People were killing each other before video games, before tv, before movies, before radio, before whatever was to blame before radio. And we will still be killing each other long after.

Look at Japan. Almost impossible to get a gun, and guess what, almost no gun deaths / injuries... I wonder if there is a connection there...
