they would have losed a lot of money probably ended 3rd on this gen, still is the console i less like but they made a good job with it

Remember Nintendo is very conservative, and made a profit of the GC despite selling it at such a cheap price. So while they would end 3rd I don't think they would have loss alot of money. It would most likely be a game console only just like the GC, and N64 making costs much cheaper than the PS3, and probably a little cheaper than the 360.

If Nintendo did what Sony and MS have done they wouldn't be able to offer something different to the gamers. Something distinct which Wii is, i think it would end up being 3rd because of the lack of third party support (it would be just like GC times) with 360 and PS3 being most popular consoles.

There would be no market expansion like the one Gaming is experiencing now people would be forced to pay loads of money for HD systems and play this same kind of games like last generation.

They'd be in talks with Sony and Microsoft right now for exclusive game development rights.

Things would be much more expensive.

Hmm, my guess would be that this thread would never have been made.

Aside from that I'm sure you know what would of happened, gaming needed new and simpler interfaces, to envite new ideas and new ideas bring in new faces.

If it cost $500 (or in that range) ...........then they may or may not have been third, but the definitely would not have been the fastest selling console of all time.
