If you like a majority of the songs, it's a better deal than DLC.

Not everybody has their consoles online, so DLC has a very limited pool of consumers. Disc-based spin-offs can sell to everybody.

Easy money.

I'm holding off on Aerosmith and Metallica, but then I might get the Hendrix one.

Easy money is right.  And that is their idea I do believe.

I personally have created the JaggedSac collection, which is comprised of The Who, Rush, NiN, Metallica, Wolfmother, RHCP, CCR, and some more.

At least Guitar Hero has a lot of good songs from famed artists compared to Rock Band that include songs from bands that we probably never heard of in the first place (MTV I guess). That's how I felt about RB though, probably a different opinion coming from someone else.

 



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
