I never played it but I am pretty sure Okami's intro was 20 minutes and VP's intro was 45 minutes. |
I get it, you hate me. That's what this is, isn't it?

No I don't hate you. There are a few members I am not particulary fond of though(but I will not name anyone)

If you hate VP intros, then you would definitely hate Lost Odyssey's intro. After the first 15 minutes in LO, you will spend the next hour and a half doing nothing but walking and watching cutscenes in that game.
| Soriku said: @WoW ............................................................... @Riachu In VP you barely walk in the beginning though. You take maybe a few steps...then more talking. But...meh =/ RPGs need less cutscenes and more gameplay. |
I see the Tales series has spoiled you rotten. LO has enough gameplay hours already, so why sacrafice the story for the sake of gameplay?
Not DS?
probably PSP or Wii, with an outside chance of PS3/360 Multiplatform.
I'm surprised more Devs don't do a PS2/PSP release of a game

I think the latter is more likely. VP is a series from Tri-Ace, who seem to care a lot about production values. Look at SO4, it's on the 360 and not on the Wii.

You know, I used to say that too... but Xenosaga spoiled me. First RPG where I've actually really looked forward to the cutscenes. Star Ocean III, OTOH, pissed me off because the cutscenes were stupid and didn't need to be FMV anyway.
wasn't it already a psp future release? I could've sworn that a topic like that was on the new here at vgc
"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)
"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

SO3's cutscenes were very good considering when the game originally came out. A few awkward pauses is not that bad considering it was more likely the fault of the fact that the game was originally in Japanese
