I did read it and there are many wrong points, but at the end the author said IT IS UNKNOWN WHERE IT WILL GO. I don't get why you don't understand.
You should ask yourself that...If its unknown it disapproves of your sig...

There are just too many reasons on why it should stay.
1. It started on PS2 and customers like to continue a franchise where it started.
2. The game's audience MAIN audience lies with the PS3 as real fans want to see massive graphical upgrades within the new title.
3. Tetsuya Nomura (an known PSFanboy) is the developer of the game.
4. The game also holds characters that Sony holds liscences too such as the FFVII cast. These characters have become key to the story so it would be akward to take them out
4. Disney stands to only gain by further inforcing the game on PS3 as they are one of the biggest investors in Blu Ray.
5. 360 users dont really like RPGs, hense none of them sell too well...
6. Wii is too technologically inferior to give fans of the series what they want, motion controls would be a minus to the gameplay.
7. Becuase it only makes sense lolz XD

1) Given that over 80% of the PS2's customers have jumped ship (assuming the PS3's sales figures are any indication), I think it's safe to say that they'd prefer to continue the series on consoles they own.

Um, False! Half have not jumped ship, the PS3 is still selling if I recall. They are simply waiting for all the big hit titles such as FF , GOW,KH, etc to come out before they purchase one, duh! Many dont buy a system til the game they like the most comes out for it.

2) "Real fans" want nothing of the sort; they just want the game to be good.

3) The same Tetsuya Nomura who is on record as saying that he doesn't want to put KH on the PS3?

This is a blatent lie, where is your  proof? Where,when did he say this? Nomura has always show favortism to Sony. He does like the DS though but the actual sequal to the series is HIGHLY unlikely to be reduced to a handheld...

4) Sony doesn't hold licenses to the FFVII cast.

In case you did not know, Sony owns the rights to FFVII, they published it back when Square was having problems from their split with Nintendo.

4) Blu-Ray already beat HD-DVD; Disney has nothing further to gain from pushing the PS3.

They still need it to trump DVD. If BD succeeds DVD then that means Disney can put out collections of all there old franchises on the new format, as they tend to do every so often anyway. This would be the perfect excuse.

5) Point taken, but this only speaks of the 360 fanbase, and frankly I suspect they'd be more concerned about the fact that it's a Disney game than the fact that it's an RPG.

6) Motion controls would vastly improve KH, as they can improve all other games. The fans want a good game, and the Wii, unlike its competitors, allows games to be genuinely better and not just prettier. This is what the fans want: better games.

I doubt that! Personal opinion, but I think adding motion sensing to every little thing is a joke. I think many fans of the series will agree with me when we say we like the set up of the current controls now think you. Controls can make or break a game. Adding Motion Sensing would turn the game into a Harry Potter game.

7) It makes no sense to anyone but people trying to justify their PS3 purchases.

And it makes anymore sense to go to Wii and or 360? The PS3 has more in its favor then them.

 

 

 

1) Still, with the hardcore focus on the PS3 and the casual focus on the PS2 it's unlikely that most PS2 owners will go PS3.

2) As it can on the PSP, Wii, DS, 360.

3) Dragon Quest IX?

4) And? Eidos published it on the PC too. If that was the case Aerith and some other chars from FFVII would be on Chain of Memories, a GBA Game.

4b) So would Disney just put their biggest game on the console with the lowest userbase, the most "mature" one (perfect fit with Disney eh?) to help Blu Ray win the DVD? Which will happen anyway sooner or later?

6) Personal opinion... so no comment.

7) It has? Like? Userbase? Demographic? Lower development costs? Less development time?

Anyhoo, on-topic.

Why does no one want to believe it'd be on a console that's not the Wii? I mean, it could really be on any of the consoles or handhelds.

If it does end up being on the PS3, It's gonna be hilarious.

Well the PS3 is the second most likely choice after the Wii.

Or what if the portable versions of the games do so good, that they don't even go back to consoles?

What if the next KH doesn't even have Sora. Or any disney characters, but is some future emo guy going to different comic book worlds slaying skeletons?

All this discussion over a game that hasn't even been formally announced is weird.

How is this grasping at straws? We know all 3 KHs tie to a future game...which would mean a future game is coming...which would be KH3.

Don't see how we're grasping when it's going to happen. Heck, at the start of the gen Disney was begging SE for KH3 (SE was probably too busy though).

Future game could be anything.

Final Fantasy XIV, Star Ocean 5, The Last Remnant 2, Dragon Quest X.  Who knows?

Future game is only limited by your imagination.

What about the games linking up with NBA 2K10?
