I have a simple question for you people.  Do you believe in spankings or not?  Also state whether you have had it or not.

Personally I have been.  It's not uncommon among Hispanic families to raise their kids like that.

Yes, I strongly believe in it, and I can tell you that any rebellious kid I've babysitted who has defied me has felt the wrath of my palm.

And surprisingly, their parents supported my actions because they couldn't solve the defiance problems themselves. To be fair, though, they were all oriental.

My rule of thumb: I don't spank boys and I don't spank girls under 18. I guess my kids will be safe.
