yep, i have re-entered the domain of the portable consoles, i bought a pre-owned PSP for £80 with free game (Football Manager 2008) and memory card (512mb), im going shopping on saturday to get games for it, what should i get? also any advice for me as a new PSP owner?

I recommend patapon.

Make sure you buy any other equipment or accessories you want before taking it home. As for games, I would first and foremost recommend Jeanne D'Arc, and then games such as Lumines, Daxter, Grand Theft Auto Liberty City and Vice City Stories, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Patapon, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Locoroco.

That should keep you busy...

Lumines is a must have if you are into puzzle games even the least bit.
Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII
Both Syphon Filters
Monster Hunter
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters
Ridge Racers 2
Daxter
Tekken
Mortal Kombat Unchained
DBZ Budoki
Burnout

The first four are pretty much must-haves. The best thing about the PSP is that I play games on it that I normally don't even like on consoles (Ratchet and Clank and Ridge Racers to be exact).

Castlevania. The best PSP game IMO.

If yours didn't come with one, pick up a little psp lanyard to keep around your wrist as your moving about the city, I've dropped mine a few times and kinda wish I hadn't ^^; A decent case is always nice too, although the miniscule foam cover is amazing :) AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MON, PICK UP A SCREEN PROTECTOR!!!! I LOVE the PSP's screen, and I keep that mofo covered >: ) Scratches are a nightmare on this thing :)
