The game still has a long way to go.  I guarantee, that if the 360 version sells 1million copies, that versus will not remain exclusive.  That would be saying no to money.

All info available clearly shows Versus is its own separate game, with its own separate development team and even its own separate combat system.

The only link between the two games appears to be the FFXIII world in which both games take place.

No mention of whether there is even any overlap between characters and plots, but it doesn't look like it at this point.

They've already done the direct sequel/spin-off concept with FFX/FFX-2 so this would seem to be a new concept in development for the FF series.

Still no word on when it's supposed to be released though. 2010? 2011? Will platform exclusivity even mean anything if the two FFXIII games are staggered a year apart?

Same could be said for Star Ocean 4....but then I think SquEnix already have their lost revenue for that.

There are a few PS3 exclusives I want. Heavy Rain, God of War 3 etc. But at the end of the day, Versus is the ultimate game for me. If it goes to the Xbox 360, I probably wont buy a PS3 for a long time if ever.

Star Ocean 4 will come out for both in the end.

I can hope. Would be weird if it didn't. VsXIII though I'm unsure about, might, might not. At this stage I'd say more won't but then at one point FFXIII wasn't.

You guys no that FFvs13 and FF13 are 2 different games, 2 different set's of characters, 2 different settings, 2 different stories, 2 different styles of game play. And FFvs13 is an action RPG. The only thing that these to things have in common is that they both happen in the same Universe...

Why are you buying an arcade instead of getting your Xbox 360 repaired from Microsoft? The warranty is 1 year for general failures and 3 years for 3RROD failure types.

Otherwise, the cost of a repair is $99 and the repaired box comes with a fresh 1 year warranty, just as if you bought it out of the store. Even if you get the arcade for $199, you're still paying twice as much for the same amount of warranty.

i am still glad i decided to buy ps3 instead of xbox360 because of ffvs13 is confirmed as playstation only.
but if square eats their words again, then i think i will start to feel regret
