Hope it turns up to be good ben seems like the biggest fan of this game.

thank you. Now that thats out of the way, lets continue. I did not and will not say its exclusive, despite the fact that you have to own a Microsoft product to run it. There we go, no future complications.

 

 

 

Just because a PC is running Windows doesn't make it a "Microsoft" machine.  I'll use their OS, but besides that, Microsoft has no say on my PC, the games I play on it...etc.  Windows is just there to make the games work.

The 360 is a Microsoft machine...they ship out the hardware, put limitations on it, and tell people what they can and can't do on it.

 

 

 Yes...thats why I said product, which could mean software or hardware or really anything they make. And since its games for windows...doesn't matter though.

 it has both :)

I personally think this will be the best game coming out this year. This dev never puts out mediocre.

Can't we all just get along?

The game is going to be good regardless. Even if you don't have a PC to play the game the 360 certainly isn't a terrible option.

PS - Why do people put L4D stuff in the MS forum? Multi-plat games go in the gaming forum please.

So far, yes.

I'm not worried about the game at all...I used to say you can trust Valve as much as Nintendo to give you a quality product...though lately Nintendo has let me down a little bit, while Valve continues to shine with the constant TF2 updates and the promises of more changes when L4D is released, such as matchmaking on Steam as well as Steam Cloud, to keep savegames online and such. Very nice.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I like this game a lot from the marketing so far...

It could make a huge difference for 360 sales this Christmas... It could be the 360 BioShock of 2008...

I'm not either going to praise or nay-say the 360 version.

The more people playing the better, right?

I'm just warning you...Left 4 Dead on the 360 is going to be a far different experience than on the PC...6 months after you buy the game you're going to be jealous of the uber awesome shopping mall level, or the new zombie bosses...the kind of stuff TF2 is getting right now on the PC, but not at all on 360.

Maybe they'll do a better job with DLC on the 360 this time, but I wouldn't count on it...XBL is too complicated to just give out free updates every month apparently.
