I've always loved two things; guns and zombies. So obviously I checked out left 4 Dead a while back. I wasn't too impressed. But looking at it now (specifically the IGN videos) I can whole heartedly say

OH SHI*! 

The game looks amazing. Everything about "The Director" is awesome.the fact that it moniters you status and throws the perfect amount of action and ammo and whatnot sounds very good. 4 player online co-op = very much win. And if you want to get serious there is 8 player co-op where 4 players are zombie bosses and fight against the players.

Randomly generated levels are said to only give about 40minutes - 1hour of gameplay in story mode. However, because of this Valve also said that each playthrough will be so different from the last you can play through it an infinite amount of times.

This game = Win. Part of the 360s insane line up for '08. I just hugged my Xbox 360. Hope it doesn't red on me, so I don't miss a single game. Plus I wouldnt be able to review anything but Wii, DS and PSP games... :/

Because it has been stated; this game is also coming to PC and it will be better on PC.  Lets be fair though; what game isn't better on PC? :)

This game is a must have for me this Holiday.

Let me go ahead and say this because someone will come in and say it eventually. The pc version is better because pc gaming is always better.  Game looks awesome though.

thank you. Now that thats out of the way, lets continue. I did not and will not say its exclusive, despite the fact that you have to own a Microsoft product to run it. There we go, no future complications.

PC version or bust, for me.

I really want to love this game.....but i think ill get sick of it just because i think it lacks a lot of substance....ill love mowing down zombies in a hectic environment but i can see myself getting tired of it very quickly.

the game seems mediocre to me to be honest, i ant going to be getting it.

Just because a PC is running Windows doesn't make it a "Microsoft" machine.  I'll use their OS, but besides that, Microsoft has no say on my PC, the games I play on it...etc.  Windows is just there to make the games work.

The 360 is a Microsoft machine...they ship out the hardware, put limitations on it, and tell people what they can and can't do on it.
