Forums - Gaming - Question for SaGa Frontier lovers such as myself.

I can't agree, Wil Knight kicking ass was a slice of heaven, if Gustave had stayed also it would of been a slice of hell, for all the hell he would of brought down in that ending war scenario. I still believe he alone could of made that last war much easier.

Yeah, I would agree with the last war. I still like Gustave so much, his character sprite was awesome.

Everything about the guy was awesome the fact he was the only square character outside of Delita to have that kind of stuff happen to him and not become a spaztastic emotional wreck is very nice.

I just wish more people would just ignore reviewers and give games like SaGa Frontier and SaGa Frontier II a chance. I know many who want to play Last Remnant, meanwhile the main 4 who created these same SaGa games are the ones behind LR. :)

That way they can witness the sheer awesomeness that is Gustave, Will, Time Lord and Blue. I thought Johan was pretty damn cool as well.

It is nice to know someone on this site besides me appreciates these games.

One Gamestop only has it new, for $30+tax and I am too poor right now to drive 16 miles and pay $30 to grab it, the other store which is 8 miles away has it used but without the manual or casing, so I can't get that one either.

I then realized I have a Gamefly subsciption, but it took long enough to finally get Digital Devil Saga (4 weeks before it was stocked again) and it is going to suck waiting later on to get it again.

Why can't Gamefly have it for sales? :(

Hehe, to this day I don't know why people follow reviews - back in the days of Nintendo power I never looked to them to find out what I wanted to get, but it was nice to know what was out there. These media outlets aren't doing their jobs, no one needs opinion we need information.

Put on paper what the game has to offer, show a video of someone playing the game, get me hyped on some trailers and boom, it's a business not a side show or charity, they aren't supposed to cross-vent for the reader, I'm supposed to look at whats present and say. "This looks like crap." or "Hmm I don't know but it's worth a go." or "That looks amazing!" I don't want to know a game is amazing from someone I couldn't even care didn't have another breath to take in after this post.

The shift in how media outlets put examined and publicized information started out bad, and it would take a massive shift in values to get it to being beneficial in the business sense and not just short term.
