They're pretty fun, actually. And in addition to making money there's a lot of stuff you can unlock for Fable II- hairstyles, weapons, etc.

^^Are they only unlockable through the pub games? If so, that is complete rubbish. I also find making money before you play the game to be rubbish as well. The game is gonna be ten kinds of awesome. Won Gamespot's best in show of E3.

@JaggedSac: Not sure, but I think the games will come free with Fable II so I imagine you'll be able to unlock the stuff in-game as well.

Played for a bit, and lost a lot of cash, but you can reset a character if you do really bad at the start If your going to get Fable I would just preorder and get them free now (your gonna get them free later anyway). Don't pay $10 if your not going to get fable though. No reason to

Do you start in jail if you have negative when you get the game?

It does say something about watching your debts "as it can lead to trouble in the world of Fable" or something to that effect. I guess you can become a serious debtor and have to go on the lam.
