Beginning August 15th, gamers will be able to experience their favourite Xbox 360 games on the big screen outside of regular movie showtimes. Pricing for a two-hour private gaming session for up to twelve people is $179 + applicable taxes and includes the use of Xbox 360 and four wireless controllers. Gamers can bring their own games or use one of the available games in the theatre's library which includes some of the latest blockbuster titles. Visit your local participating theatre box office for available gaming hours and to make your reservation.

This would be awesome if it wasn't for the $179 price tag.  But I guess you can split the cost with 6 people and it's a price of a movie ticket.

A freind of mine is a general manager at a theater in Toronto and we;ve played many games at his digital projection theater. I want to play in the IMAX theater still...lol.

^^How big is the screen? What's it like?
I would get dizzy for sure.

We played street fighter 3 and halo 3 on the big screen few months back. Screen is huge...like 40-50 feet. you got to sit back...otherwise sound and picture quality are excellent. Its digital projection so...

Why allow 12 people and only give them 4 controllers? That part seemspointlessto me.

But that's very cool!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
