i think this game is going to sell poorly on the Wii

actually its selling quite poorly, it didnt sell out first or second day at my WalMart. We sold the last copy we had three days after the game's launch...

Coming from you, I wouldn't expect anything else.

So would you describe its sales rate as about, say, one third that of the 360 version? ;)

ringo - of course, that was a version of the game that got poor reviews. The 09 one is said to be the best madden yet due to the new additions to the Wii version. It is useless to compare 09 to 08 since 08 was a gimped port and nothing more. Ultimately, we will just have to see what the sales are like at the end of the week

Need more info to get the answer. Did the other 2 versions sell out on day 1? Im sensing your post is sarcastic, but with you, I can never tell

 I like to think it means that a innocent, niave poster is about to get severely beaten down by all others as seals do in the wild.

basically translated to mean that the point regarding Amazon sales being updated hourly or daily or something ridiculous like that means that it cannot be used to argue game sales has been explained that much it should be added as a disclaimer to the site.

On topic - I'd be suprised if the all play made a difference to the game as the people it's targeting dont get on to sites like IGN much and thats where it's being bigged up the most.

I imagine it will end up at about 1M Wii copies sold.
That it is lower than the PS3 or Xbox 360 should not surprise since those consoles have a greater ownership by the core Madden players.

But if ends up at 1M, no one can say "It sold poorly on the Wii." Make that no one should say because some will say it.

how many copies does it have to sell in the wii to be a success?, and how many does have to sell in ps3 and xbox to be a success?

we had 70 copies of each version

The wi version sold about 40 copies day one, day two 15.
