Now for the so called flaw of the game, the celestial brush technique, theres one technique you must do to make it accurate. If you want to make things blossom, like trees and clovers, do it counterclockwise, do it first around the trunk close to branches then just circle it. Thats simple. As for the clovers, do it around the clover counter clockwise circling it. THATS IT...
Now for the review, I dont want to review the graphics, the gameplay and the longevity and replayability and the the story of the game since its been discussed on the PS2 version already, after all theyre just the same. Well except for the 480p and wide screen option of the game, instead, I'll review the wiimote function of the game, the most discussed aspect of the game. Is the wiimote make the gameplay of Okami better or worse? Contradicts to other reviewers out there and some gamer's opinion about the game, the wiimote makes the celestial brush technique better you can draw anything with ease, and you dont need to be accurate or precise to make the celestial technique work. After a few sittings on the game, the wiimote feels natural you dont even need to think on what you do, you just do it. Especially for the trees, and other things that makes blosssom. Yeah, everyone here says blossoming things are hard and you sometimes mistakenly draw a sun or a wind I sometimes do that too, but just do what the first paragraph and blossoming things was a piece of cake.
Now the real falw of the game, the mirror combo, the combos like the rosary and the swords are EASY, just time it but the mirror weapons combos are hard, you cant time it well since you dont know what your next waggle be, unlike on rosaries and swords. Thats why I never used or buy mirrors since for me its useless, but asides from that, the combat was perfectly fine...
All in all, I give this game a 9.8 out of 10, if not for the annoying combos on mirror weapons but the combos on swords and rosaries are fine to me...
