If Square decides to quit what will Disney do? Make another game like the one you should me?

Why would Square decide to quit when KH is such a big selling series?

I'm just saying what if...You said," Disney is the bigger deciding factor."There both the deciding factor in my view. No one bigger then the other.

Actually as owners of the IP they have more say than Square Enix. So while they probably will treat eachothers as equal most of the time, if a big disagreement comes Disney has all say.  I don't see why Square Enix wouldn't want the game to come to the Wii though?

@Soriku
Nice double post good job.And you should read my whole post since it explains that they could have make more money by making it ps2/GC atleast come back with a better reply rather than with facepalm oh wait maybe you are a bit slow.......

@Sc
Still they could put it on the GC it would have make money look at a franchise like tales of in the ps2 it did not found stellar sales since it was overshadow by the massive catalogue of ps2 games.But Tos it sold extremely well on the GC since the GC crowd was starving for rpg support the GC could have also benefic from Kh and everyone would have been happy.

Nintendo has always been both.

popular and family friendly aren't the same thing people.

Of course, but most of the time when you talk about a popular console it will have the Family Friendly demograph as well. Which do you see more family friendly, Wii or PS360? I don't really feel like arguing about this again anymore. Like others have mentioned many times its only speculation.

@Soriku

SC answered it the correct way.

@SC

If they make it for the Wii, why not make it for the ps2?

It would make a bigger profit rather then just it been on the Wii.

Wether Disney own KH exclusivley or not i still dought that
A.They'll make any decisions regarding the game exlcusivley
B.They'll want to develop a future KH title without Square Enix

All the Nintendo fanboyishness aside the game will go whever they feel makes the most business sence , no where ever your anecdotal , poorly informed opinion hopes it will go.

You can argue all day about what platform you hope it'll apear on , in reality your debate has no effect on rea life. I'm personaly unsure at this point.

Except...us Nintendo fanboys actually take that into account. Disney is the bigger deciding factorm but it's not like we totally discount SE. Besides, does SE have any reason to make another huge HD project?

@ctk

WTF, mate?

First of all, the KH games aren't only on Sony platforms. KH: CoM, 358/2 Days, and Coded say hi. Second, the Wii is goign to have over 50% market share by the end of the year so PS3 + 360 sales aren't necessary when you have one console that is beating the other consoles. Third, who do you SERIOUSLY think Disney characters would appeal to? PS3/360 fans (made up of older teens and adults) or Wii fans (made up of all demographics but has a lot more 9-14 year olds than the PS3 or 360 which are KH's demographic). And the Wii > 360 in NA so I don't see why it'd sell more on the 360 than the Wii in NA.

If Square decides to quit what will Disney do? Make another game like the one you should me?

That actually looked pretty awesome for a V-cast game.

Because...

1. The PS2 will eb dead anyway by the time KH3 is out.I wouldn't say that..Its capable of doing what the Wii can.
2. SE/Nomura said they weren't making any more PS2 games. Their last PS2 game was KH2: FM+.Going back to what you said, Disney has the bigger say right?

but, it's all about image, Nintendo has always set their  market at kids, which more parents would feel more at ease with, while the playstation and xbox focuses on teens and adults.

The wii is an exception because, its a fad or trend, it attracts all side, the wiimote makes alot of people curious.  Successful fad, btw.

Well I do think that is an option as well, but then again it would be a situation where Disney is overuling Square Enix, since Square Enix doesn't develop for the PS2 anymore. Also it would be really gimped on the Wii. The graphics would be gimped in the same way a Wii multiplat with HD consoles would have gimped graphics, and the Controls would feel tacked on, and not really use the Wiimotes advantage. I wouldn't really want that as a fan, but it is very likely due to the sales. I don't think it is as likely as Wii exclusive though. Imo there is a 40% chance it would happen if it is going to WIi as well. 15% chance if you consider all options like Wii,360,Ps3, PS360, DS, PSP.

@ctk

What are you talking about? The KH target demographic is 9-14 year olds. Why the hell won't you understand?

Second, Mario and Sonic is a second party game, not third party.

Third, of course no third party game on the Wii outsold a game that was also on the PS3 + 360
. Yet the Wii versions sold more than half of both the PS3 and 360 combined. It's not like Guitar Hero where that can appeal to PS3/360 owners easy. This is KH we're talking about.

So is disney hating money?If all the other TP games have sold better on ps3+360 then why wii exclusive?

Maybe because...Wii exclusive games have a lot potential to sell than Wii/PS3/360/PS2 multiplat games? Heck, the PS2 version of GH3 outsold the Wii/PS3/360 version.

GH3 sales were like this: PS2 > Wii > 360 > PS3.

@Obliterator

Uh...you know that's been the case since KH1...right? It's not a new concept. And Disney is the bigger deciding factor because Disney own the IP.

So ps2 exclusive?I won't haven't because I can't remenber where Nomura said that kingdom hearts they won't make another kh on the ps2.This won't go nowhere since obviously everything you said is base on your desire for kh3 being on the wii multiplatform 360+ps3 could make bigger sales.The Ds is also another factor 358/2 could sell extremely well and square could make kh3 for the ds DQIX is a main series and it is on the DS so I don't see why I couldn't be on the DS?Atleast Sc understands this and see's the ds as an option.
