Of course, but most of the time when you talk about a popular console it will have the Family Friendly demograph as well. Which do you see more family friendly, Wii or PS360? but, it's all about image, Nintendo has always set their  market at kids, which more parents would feel more at ease with, while the playstation and xbox focuses on teens and adults.

 

The wii is an exception because, its a fad or trend, it attracts all side, the wiimote makes alot of people curious.  Successful fad, btw.
