Forums - Gaming - If the kingdom heats franchise belongs to disney why isn't there any.......

KH is not very marketable... it hasn't got that Family feeling.. It's a videogame a few million people played alone.. and 90% of them are too old to buy pluches anymore...

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I think the people in Orlando wouldn't care.So they just wont bother with such a thing...

Well people from all around the world visit disney world not only the one's from orlando.

Sorry for not been accurate, but what I meant to say was people go to Disney World to have fun. Selling something which isn't very popular wouldn't be a good idea. You would think, whats the probability of some KH fan going to Disney world? The answer of course would be very low...

I want to see more tertiary characters playable in KH games, not the usual Mickey Mouse, etc.. More PeterPan chars, more Gummi Bears, Tale Spin. The GOOD shows =)

Square Enix sells the merchandise..

Then why not make an effort to make KH appeal to more people/families at Disney World?

I mean...say if (WHEN!) KH3 goes to the Wii, they could show off the Wii (I think they already do, along with the DS) and KH3. I mean I'd bet a lot of families have a Wii...and people who don't it might appeal to them and it might make them buy thre Wii and/or KH3. Same goes for the PS2 games.

Your going to start an argument...

Didn't Kindom Hearts used to have action figures?

Isn't kingdom hearts a >>Joint Venture<< between Square Enix and Disney probably meaning Disney don't own the series exclusivley.

Wikpedia

"It is the result of a collaboration between Square and The Walt Disney Company. The game combines characters and settings from Disney's animated features with those from the Final Fantasy series, developed by Square"

Why can't Disney sell it as well? It's Disney's series...don't see why they can't advertise it at Disney World.

@Obliterator

No I won't. Unelss someone foolishly happens to respond to that in a matter we don't want :P

I hope someone does just to make my thread more popular XD

It still does. It has action figures, jewelry (like necklaces and bracelets and rings), shirts, the card game, and of course the games. Plenty of stuff they can have at Disney World.
