Conventional wisdom is saying that the Games Division is ‘profitable’. However, the investor wants it spun off to assess its ‘true value’. What is going on here is that much of the marketing, the warranties, and other costs for the Xbox 360 have been woven into other divisions to mask the huge losses.

That vid is an absolute load of utter crap. Take a trip to Baghdad they have kids going to school learning, freedom of religious minorities, and families going to picnic in the parks. If what we do to our soldiers today happened in the 40s Americans would wake up in the morn w/ a Sigheil Fuhrer!

Nope, is a common practice many companies do when they face losses, not just Microsoft.
