Why the PS1 version and not the arcade version? I will probably buy it along with Bionic Commando: Rearmed.

Street fighter is prolly the best game on the planet love it and every single game (remake, Download, XBl, PSN, VC, New Disk title) will be bought 1st day.

alpha 3 was great... not so excited about the first alpha. i hope they advertise the game with new art instead of the god awful box art that shipped in north america.

For those with backwards compatibility on their PS3's let me suggest to fork over an extra $8 or so and get the entire Street Fighter Alpha Collection for PS2. It has the arcade version of Alpha which is much better, Alpha 2, Alpha 2 Gold and Alpha 3. If I'm not mistaken it has Gem Fighters on it also. It's a much better deal considering Alpha 1 was the worst of the three and Alpha 3 would end up getting the most play time.
