Athena engine, Quantum3 engine.....finally, some progress is being made on the Wii. This is the only system where you can push the graphics to the limit. MGS4 pushed the PS3 and Gears pushed the 360.

Yeah TP sometimes is like any HD games, a lot of bloom... and two colors... (Probably Nintendo was given a message, yhe Twilight as the normal point of view of game developers two colors and lots of bloom or hdr and the Link comes to end it)...
Twilight Princess doesn't actually use bloom, just a good fake of it. I know this because Retro said the Gamecube can't do bloom lighting when they were discussing Metroid Prime 3.
What I want the lighting to be is as good as it is in Soul Calibur 4 or at least Dead Rising. The "Wiimake" of the latter should hopefully tell us if hey Wii can do dynamic lighting (as in changes subtly with the way the objects move against light sources).
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

the quantum engine(conduit) can do dynamic lighting...
As can this new Athena Engine.
LOTN, the Gamecube can do bloom lighting and TP is one of those games that does. What Retro was saying is that their GC engine couldn't do bloom lighting. Several GC games eventually used bloom lighting.
The rEVOLution is not being televised
oooo this game is sounding better and better everyday
Well I enjoy this news but my wallet is going to hurt in 2009 too many interesting coming Q1 and Q2 of 2009 for the wii and all third party. This is number six or seven if I not mistaken.
I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

I could have sworn they said the GC couldn't do actual bloom. Whatever.
It's inclusion in Twilight Princess does support the director's statements that the game was about as far as the Gamecube could go, since it's as detailed as Resident Evil 4 (just with a differnt art direction), but with a longer draw distance, smoother framerate (as in it's still 30fps, just with almost no slowdown), and increased lighting.

Sounds like a good looking game, hope the gameplay and plot live up to the graphics
