I just bought my ds and mario kart ds, dont know how to play online i have the standard modem, can i play online?

you need wireless with wep security settings or wirless adapter.

dont u have wireless with ur ps3? If so just use that wireless with some securuty euch as wep on it

You don't have to use WEP though... I thought you could just leave it unencrypted (like at hotels, ect.)

yeah, It worked for me, but whatever... It's probably better for you to just put encryption on it anyway... I think Datel made some dongle that was USB and pretty good (I remember some reviewers said it was better than Nintendo's because it worked with all wireless).
