will they make the 60gb HDD avaiable seperatley for cheap for existing 360 owners? also this may help 360 sales here (i think theyre good anyway, i know 5 people with 360's)

Hmm, you seem to be right. This news was today, only 4 days before it's socalled release. Timing seems a bit short to be honest. Maybe MS are trying to quickly undercut Sony before the UK launch of the 80GB PS3 at the end of the month.

If they are, they've got a lot of work to do to let people know.

apparently it's the whole of europe. but what's going to happen with the remaining 20gb 360's? no mention of that in the statement. not enough information given to be honest.
