Forums - Gaming - What if the PS3 sells close to 8-10 million in the U.S before FFXIII is out

What kind of since would it make for them to turn around and not make it also for the 360 even if the PS3 sold 20 mill. It's a business, more units sold means more money. This is arithmetic, not even third grade math.

At least, it made me laugh.

Follow this, lets use the US example you mentioned. PS3 at 10 million, by that time and 17 million for x360 (just guesses of course). 27 million > 10 million. Enough said

QFT.  TS doesn't consider the business model due to obvious predilection for PS3

Just sad someone thinks this.us :(

i think that this game is going to get released on the ps3 first, i really do think that, by the time this game comes out the ps3's install base is not going to be an issue unless microsoft give them a reason to hold th game back

It would mean that Blu-ray has finally caught on and to expect DVD shelves to be shrunk down at Best Buy. ^_^

Obie, you don't pay attention. (wouldn't expect yu to either.) They said the Ps3 has to wait until the 360 version is done. They will have simulataneous releases. (except in Japan, where 360 may never get ff13.)

Has there been many games in history that have gone from multiplatform to exclusive?

I doubt that would happen. But if it makes you feel better, since the ps3 version will be finished first, then at best they would make it a timed exclusive...
