I agree to a large extent as I said, most peaks were extremely short lived and in the long run, of little consequence with one possible exception. Looking at Japan, the cumulative sales lines between Sony and Nintendo are almost completely parralel going into the holiday season. Wii Fit came out just at the start of the holidays and Nintendo had hugely dispropotionate holiday and while Sony dropped back immediately to preholiday levels, Nintendo never did and the lines started diverging and haven't stopped.Wii fit marked the start of this change and was a huge hit selling a huge number in Japan compared to any other release. I think there is every indication that Wii Fit in Japan was a very important system seller.
